My yard is now a pond.

Oy!

I woke up to the glorious sound of thunder and rain (I love the sound of a thunderstorm) this morning. I got up and looked out my front door and dear God I now live on an island in the middle of a pond. Barely any of the (dead) grass can be seen under the incredible amount of water that my poor yard just cannot manage to allow to soak in. We’ve had a crazy winter with more snow, ice, rain, and general ick then we usually have. There is a saying in Missouri that if you don’t like the weather here, wait until tomorrow - it’ll change. It’s pretty damn true. Just a week or two ago it was sunny and sixty degrees, but by nightfall it was snowing.

So how was your weekend? I spent mine just kicking back and enjoying life. I’ve been trying to get my home business going, so I haven’t had much time to myself. I gave myself the weekend off and played the new God of War game for PSP. It was phenomenal, the story line was incredible and the graphics were beautiful. I’m not a big gamer but I couldn’t put that game down, I just wanted to keep going to find out what happened next. Very fun.

I’m working on new versions for both this site (probably another heavily modded wordpress theme), as well as a new design for Natcro Designs, which I currently love but will hate before it even makes it to the site. C’est la vie.
